Roy Fox, 20, and Ken Norbury, 20, were dropping a friend off at his Quadra Street home about midnight Wed- nesday when they noticed flames in one of the front windows. While the fire department was being summoned, Fox and Norbury rushed in the front door of the house to check whether all occupants had escaped safely, one of their companions, Tim Harrison, reported to the Review. They found the fire confined to the living room, and the house empty except for a small grey cat. Fox scooped up the cat and the two fled the house and handed their charge to a neighbour. TY S.T.A.G.
