This promises to be both amus- ing and entertaining. The senior di- vision are putting on the ever-popu- lar play “Ali Baba. and the Forty Thieves,” while the primary divisions are presenting a number of items consisting of a fairy play, dances, songs, etc. An excellent two-hour program is promised to all who attend. The:pro- | gram. commences at.7 0 ’elock and the children hope, to see a good turnout both evenings One of the latest business deals'in Sidney has to-do with the reduction plant at Roberts’ Point. We learn that Mr. O. Netzer, of Victoria, has leased this plant from the Foro Pro- ducts Limited for a term of five years. This will be good news to the fishermen of the surrounding waters and as Mr. Netzer has had the handling of this plant before and is well and favor- ably known we. predict that he will build up a still greater volume of business: Mr. Netzer has completed the installation of a Dutch oven and is using sawdust from the.Sidney Lumber | Company’s mill as fuel, which is proving very satisfactory. 4 number of im provements are under way and anyone interested inthis line of activity will be welcomed to look over the plant. ‘| The plant turns out oil, fish meal and fertilizer and we are in- | The de ath, tonak THE _ Facilities!: * Sites!
