- Judy Radul and Geoffrey Farmer's collaborative work resulting from their excursions to Vancouver courtrooms. The artists examined the "cultural performance" that takes place within the court of law, a fertile 'stage' because the court (like the theatre with which it has historical links) is both an architectural environment and a set of behaviours and performances that are conducted in and through that space. As jurors view evidence held up to a camera which appears on their screens, the use of media occupies the role of intermediary in this theatre - a theatre that is literally trying to find the truth of the performance. This exhibition was curated by Lorna Brown and Jonathan Middleton and opened as part of the LIVE Biennial of Performance Art. Presented by Artspeak's SET programme - a collaboration with UK-based collective Szuper Gallery. SET was a series of three exhibitions and performance/screenings, a publication and discussion forum events stemming from an investigation of current performative practices in the work of Vancouver and UK artists working with rehearsal, re-enactment and the formal framework of performance.

- Since the early 1980s Stitt has collected photo snapshots of people and places in his adopted community in London and wherever he traveled making performances. As such these images function as a connection with a moment, a memory; as cultural artifacts and signifiers of events. The photos are reconstituted and recontextualized along with text to create an installation specific to grunt gallery and LIVE. Stitt gave a tour of the exhibition at its opening on November 14, 2003.
